I’m not a sysadmin but it sounds to me like the installation of WSL itself is probably fine. Try wsl --install -d ubuntu from the command line (or PowerShell). If that doesn’t work, it maybe that you need to unblock the store.
31 sty 2019 · So I wasn't able to reproduce what you're experiencing, but I was able to install WSL on another user account that doesn't have admin privileges, without using the store. Here's the workflow that I used: Inside of your admin account: Install the WSL optional component (either through GUI or powershell) Make this folder structure: C:\WSL\
