My problem here is: After the page loads it redirects/navigates the parent window/page and completely replaces my DOM with a full outlook calendar. My intention is simply to put it in a particular section of my page (precisely a DIV).

It is an Outlook add-in , but it's installed automatically in both the Outlook client and the Outlook web app as long as your email account uses a Microsoft Exchange server.
In Outlook, select File > Open & Export > Import/Export. In Import and Export Wizard box, select Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs), and then Next. Select the calendar file from your PC and select OK. Select Open as New. The items are automatically imported into your calendar.
