Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -). Remove used batteries promptly.
BATTERY INSTALLATION Before first use, unscrew the tailcap and remove the insulating film within the battery compartment before screwing the tailcap back on tightly. If the battery needs to be changed, make sure that the positive polarity side of the battery faces toward the direction of the light head (the side of the LED).
