Mid-way down India Street (if you can find it!) there is a narrow passageway that leads to Gambier Road. If you follow this passageway you’ll pass a small Indian Mosque hidden away in the middle of the city.
Kuching's India Street has been transformed into a pedestrian mall lined with shops. Unlike Carpenter Street, this area is given over to businesses mostly catering to tourists. There are a lot of clothing and jewelry shops as well as many street stalls, especially along the smaller side streets.

2 dni temu · India Street is located in between Jalan Power, Jalan Gambir and Jalan Barrack. The best way to go there is via taxi for my own opinion. Regardless, I’ve enclosed the map of India Street as below:
India Street in Kuching may not be the most impressive destination, especially for those familiar with India. The street is characterized by narrow lanes, local shops, and a mosque. However, its proximity to the picturesque Waterfront and open-air market makes it convenient to visit while enjoying an evening stroll along the waterfront.
