9 lut 2010 · My iPod paused all the time because it thinks you've removed the headphones. If your HOLD button checks out ok with the above test, the next few screens should show a "HP DETECT test." It should say HP DETECT: 1 when you have headphones plugged in and 0 when you dont.
10 cze 2011 · Check your iPod with Diagnostics Mode. It's possible that your iPod's hard drive has started to fail. Take your iPod and place your right thumb on the centre SELECT button and your left on the top MENU button. Press down both thumbs for about 6 seconds until your iPod reboots.

If your iPod is dead, plug it in and make sure the Hold Switch located on top of the device is in the unlocked position. When you do this, it's important to restart into the iPod's default OS.
