  1. 30 wrz 2020 · Output is press quality and good to go. Now when I do that it outputs a PDF but all of the images appear to be compressed down to 72 dpi or something. I've tried all of the default settings and also tried custom ones like turning off compression.

The Acrobat thin line enhancement will be noticable if and when the Acrobat preference is on, and the PDF is displayed at (more or less) 50% magnification.

The images, a JPEG of high resolution 3000 x 1500 for one a TIFF more than 4000px for the other, placed on the artboard. When I export for screens, as PDF, the resulting PDF has the images pixelated / compressed / look really bad.

  4. In my design in illustrator I am having to place a JPEG of the logo into the designs, but when I export them as a PDF for print, the logo appears blurry and fuzzy. Despite being crisp when placed in Illustrator. I have tried multiple PDF settings, with no difference.

  5. Check your PDF export settings. A PDF should look exactly as good as the PNG, as long as you aren't telling it to downsample the images in the compression settings. PDF never looks terrible, unless you do something terrible to it, like excessive compression or choosing the wrong standard to export.

  6. Just 'save as' .pdf, high quality settings and if you need .jpg or .png or whatever other format, open the high quality pdf you saved in photoshop and 'save copy as' in photoshop in your desirable image format and quality...

  7. 22 lip 2017 · So all you need to do is: Make sure your artboard is 213 × 300 mm. Make sure any placed raster artwork is a minimum of 300 PPI. Set your PDF (on the "Compression" tab of the PDF save dialog) to either not downsample images or downsample to a minimum of 300 PPI.
