The pecten pubis (a.k.a. pectineal line) is the sharp upper border of the superior pubic ramus. It starts behind the pubic tubercle and extends laterally behind the iliopubic eminence, merging with the arcuate line of the ilium.
Together, the arcuate and pectineal lines are collectively known as the iliopectineal line. When combined with other structures such as the sacral promontory, ala of the sacrum, pubic crest, and pubic symphysis, they form the linea terminalis.
