The Ilyushin Il-76 (Russian: Илью́шин Ил-76; NATO reporting name: Candid) is a multi-purpose, fixed-wing, four-engine turbofan strategic airlifter designed by the Soviet Union 's Ilyushin design bureau as a commercial freighter in 1967, to replace the Antonov An-12. It was developed to deliver heavy machinery to remote, poorly served areas.
The new IL-76TD-90VD freighter is powered by modern PS-90A-76 engines and is equipped with advanced avionics systems that comply with both current and future ICAO requirements.
The IL-76MD-90AE military transport aircraft is designed to airlift troops, cargo, military equipment and weapons, as well as to conduct airdropping and airlanding of personnel, cargo, military equipment and weapons. The IL-76MD-90AE can be converted into ambulance or fire-fighting versions.
15 paź 2020 · Ilyushin IL-76MD-90A is a new military transport aircraft (code name: IL-476) developed by Ilyushin Aviation Complex, a subsidiary of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). It is a modernised version of the IL-76MD which itself was based on the IL-76 cargo aircraft platform.
The IL-76MD-90A carries modern avionics, including a new generation integrated flight/sighting/navigation system. Its equipment enables the pilots to fly in any geographic and climatic conditions, day and night, and under normal and adverse weather conditions.
18 maj 2020 · The Il-76MF aircraft is a derivative of the Il-76MD, with the fuselage lengthened by 6.6m. The new PS-90A-76 engines give a 25% higher take-off thrust (16,000kgf) than the D-30KP engines on the MD variant.
