22 sty 2018 · Leave the oil to penetrate the wood for about 2 hours. Wipe off surplus oil with a cloth or kitchen paper. During the first week of use the table top should be treated every second day and after that every third day until the surface is saturated (after about 2 months).
22 mar 2019 · Actually using "Danish oil" (usually a varnish and oil blend) is an option, but I think it's better to go straight to varnish myself. It can be just as easy to apply, in a wipe-on/wipe-off manner, and it's tougher, more durable and more water-resistant. See more on wiping varnish in this Question.
Apply BEHANDLA with brush or pad in a thin, even film. Leave to penetrate the surface for approx. 15 minutes. Wipe off any unabsorbed oil with a soft cloth. Let the surface dry and repeat the oil treatment 1-3 times in accordance with the absorbency of the wood.
Lightly sand worktop surface with fine sanding paper, then remove all sanding dust. Apply STOCKARYD onto a soft cloth then wipe over the surface to create a thin, even film. Leave to penetrate the surface for approx. 20 minutes. Wipe-off any unabsorbed oil with the cloth. Let the surface dry and repeat the oil treatment 1-2
