I don't go full stretch yee-haw during rec skating. In my experience any loose fitting pants/jeans will do or even better, joggers. My favorite are the hiking pants from Eddie Bauer, that are water repellent on the outside, and fleece on the inside.

As a recreational Figure Skater / Ice Dancer my daily / training outfit is a Black V-neck slim fit T-shirt (extra long to cover my belly ) with a Sports / Running Tight (s); this is extremely comfortable to skate. Would like to acquire a pair of Black Skating Pants for more official moments; and maybe a future contest. I'm located in Europe.
My main criteria for skating pants is that they should allow my full range of leg motion and dry quickly. They're loose enough to come over the tops of my boots but not so long as to bunch there, though I've also seen guys wear tighter ones that don't cover the boot.
My club had jackets for all skaters from Mondor i believe and they had both men and women, though most of us only used them for competition because our lulu vests fit so much nicer. Mondor definitely also makes pants because we use them for our learn to skate kiddos uniforms!!
