CVS is great as long as you don't work in the actual retail locations. Working remotely in the tech RX helpline is genuinely an easygoing job, and you're technically corporate so the benefits are fairly solid.
I just hate CVS for their ethics and the way their system, app, and website are so broken. I also feel like I can't leave right now because everyone quit except me and the interns. We just hired 4 people but it's going to be a while before they're trained.
My location is fantastic but the people above us and at the store level in other locations are pretty much awful. The pharmacy is understaffed 100% of the time and the front is slow and boring. I would NOT AT ALL suggest working at cvs. I currently get 14/hr but if I made an actual livable wage I would not mind working where I do.
4 mar 2010 · I worked at both Walgreens and Target and I have been inside a CVS pharmacy one time and saw their computer system. For my IPPE I worked at an independent pharmacy. Walgreens hands down have the BEST computer system. It is so nice, organized and easy to use. Most other places like Target for example have the crappest/oldest computer ever.
