  1. Everything I’ve read, seen, heard suggests that working at CVS will be harder. (Kroger usually had at least four techs during most of the day, if not more) I wanted to get out of pharmacy altogether but I needed a job so I’m at least happy about that.

  2. I have worked as a tech at 4 CVS stores and a cashier at 3 others due to just filling hours for them. My location is fantastic but the people above us and at the store level in other locations are pretty much awful. The pharmacy is understaffed 100% of the time and the front is slow and boring. I would NOT AT ALL suggest working at cvs.

  3. I dislike working with big-box pharmacies and always prefer the local stores. But Genoa has been the easiest to work with. For reference, the patient population I primarily work with is seriously and chronically mentally ill adults.

  5. 47,032 reviews from CVS Health employees about CVS Health culture, salaries, benefits, work-life balance, management, job security, and more.

  6. Working at CVS can help you break out of your shell if you want to learn how to interact with people. It also could provide you with healthcare-related opportunities, especially if you’re interested in a pharmaceutical career.
