The Atlantic hurricane season is the period in a year, from June 1 through November 30, when tropical or subtropical cyclones are most likely to form in the North Atlantic Ocean. These dates, adopted by convention, encompass the period in each year when most tropical cyclogenesis occurs in the basin.

4 sie 2022 · The 2022 Atlantic hurricane season is now predicted to produce (with 70% probability for each range) a total of 14-20 named storms (which includes the three named storms to date), of which 6-10 are expected to become hurricanes, with 3-5 of these expected to become major hurricanes.
8 sie 2024 · The 2024 North Atlantic hurricane season is predicted to produce (with 70% probability for each range) 17-24 named storms, of which 8-13 are expected to become hurricanes, and 4-7 of those are expected to become major hurricanes.
