5 kwi 2016 · The official hurricane season for the Atlantic Basin (the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Gulf of Mexico) is from 1 June to 30 November. As seen in the graph above, the peak of the season is from mid-August to late October. However, deadly hurricanes can occur anytime in the hurricane season.

8 sie 2024 · Most of the predicted activity is likely to occur during the peak months (August-October, ASO) of the hurricane season. This August update is almost identical to the May outlook (17-25 named storms, 8-13 hurricanes, 4-7 major hurricanes, and 150-245% ACE).
