The Humane Society of the BVI is a non profit organization, founded in 1975 and is the only animal shelter in the BVI, that offers a safe shelter to dogs & puppies, cats & kittens that have been abandoned, are unwanted and in some cases severely mistreated and abused.
The Huntington Animal Shelter & Adoption Center staff are dedicated to helping the homeless pets in our township. We are proud of the fact that over 94% of the animals that come to us are saved because of the implementation of adoption and training programs. Click here to adopt a dog.
Our goal at the Huntington Animal Shelter is to find the perfect match between our animals and future pet owners. All of our pets are up to date on their rabies shots and are spayed/neutered, licensed, and microchipped, before leaving the shelter. The adoption fee is $103.50.
