7 sie 2018 · Uninstalling the Synaptics software makes the touchpad start working, but Windows insists on updating and the touchpad stops working again. I've done the following: Update all drivers, deleted the devices in Device Manager and let the system reinstall. Updated the BIOS. Updated chipset drivers. Ran HP software troubleshooting
1 dzień temu · The touchpad of my notebook is nog functioning at all, sometimes the cursor moves on the screen by it self. I have to use a seperate mouse to use the notebook. Drivers installed, hardware diagnose gives no results. I'm not technical and not experienced in solving computer issues. Simple answers and simple instructions are needed :-).

30 maj 2019 · The issue is with the device being stuck in Tablet Mode; which disables the keyboard and mouse (I am still unable to fix the touch issues) . You may need to place the old screen (original) on the device temporarily and start the computer.

Essentially, after a few minutes of use the pointer (whether I’m using the touch pad, mouse or touch screen) becomes intermittently unresponsive and jumps about.
