19 kwi 2015 · Howse rotary cutters are less expensively made than the big names but are priced accordingly. I once owned a 5' Howse and found the deck metal too thin for my purposes. That said, the cut quality was OK, and it was light, which is sometimes an advantage.
13 mar 2012 · Can anyone give me an idea on the quality of cut from a Howse Rotary Cutter? I'd like to use a rotary cutter, because it would be more versitle than a finish mower, but the areas I'm cutting need to look nice. Any help would be great. Thanks
What's better, a 5 foot Bush Hog Brand Squealer for $750 or a 5 foot Howse model 0500(I think that's the model #) for $850. The squealer does come with a slip clutch, but I've been told that the squealer's are nothing but cheap junk.

16 cze 2014 · I have an old and rusty 5' Howse rotary cutter. Just got a new drive shaft for it and ran it this past weekend on my Ford 3910 and it worked real well. Having never checked the blades on it I decided to do so. As you can imagine, they were in pretty bad shape.
6 sie 2018 · Which one of these is most desirable for my use? Tennessee River Implements. I think I like the open back to discharge the cuttings and the 90 HP gearbox. I also like the beefy 3 point connection as I have twice backed my Howse cutter up near a tree and it has caught on roots and bent the poo out of the three point attachment. Taylor Way.

It comes standard with a round blade carrier, a laminated rubber tire, a 55 horsepower gearbox that is 1.47:1 ratio, and a #4 series driveshaft. This cutter is also quick hitch compatible. Howse Implement recommends chain guards on all rotary cutter.
