19 kwi 2015 · My main complaint with it since new has been the way it discharges material. The sides of it do not seem to be tall enough for the width and makes it hard to run. In heavy grass, 85hp is crawling and blowing smoke.
22 lip 2010 · Can anyone tell me if a Howse brand brush hog is any good? I have never heard of them, but there is a 48inch one for sale close to me, 2 months old like new condition for 800 bucks, just didnt know if that was a good deal or not.

5 gru 2011 · I built a new deck, for the one I converted to a skidloader mount, used a plasma cutter, and a big washer, big enough to fit the 3/4 drive socket through. You could also use one of them magnetic base drill presses, it does a reasonable job.
A basic Howse Model 500 should cost $480 to $520 (Arkansas price). Slip clutch and chains are options. The Squeeler will be a lot more. Both the Howse and the Squeeler are utility rigs. King Kutter makes a comperable rotary cutter that falls somewhere between the Howse and the Squeeler in price.
