The "Siri Suggested Websites" feature actually works great for Reddit: https://imgur.com/Fa7pxvV. And "Quick Website Search" works once you've done at least one search from the reddit.com search field; then you can just type "red" and whatever you want to search for: https://imgur.com/0yw4cfc
If you click on it, there is an option to show the search bar. By default, you can also hit Option/Alt + Space and the search bar will appear, assuming the program is running. Also, make sure the menu bar item isn't hidden by Bartender or Dozer etc.
You can navigate to the subreddit, click into the search bar, and issue your query. Alternatively from the homepage or from r/popular, you can issue a query like: subreddit:help search query Hope that helps!

When browsing a community, that community name will appear as a pill in the search bar, indicating you can search the contents of that community.
