HOW TO USE A MASTER LOCK. PARTS OF THE LOCK. Shackle. Indicator. Dial. WHAT’S THE COMBINATION? The combination for your lock is either: Placed on the back of your lock OR. Handed out to you by your school. The combination is made up of three numbers.
Follow the simple steps below to open a combo lock: Combination Locks Turn = RIGHT – LEFT – RIGHT. – Have the lock combination code located on your schedule. – Start on 0 and turn the Dial 3 times RIGHT. Stop. at the first number. – Turn the Dial LEFT. past the first number. Stop. at the second number. 4 – Turn the Dial RIGHT.
To set your own combination, dial the combination wheels to 0-0-0-0 and withdraw the lock. Turn the knob 90 degrees in a clockwise direction to the designated position. Now set your own combination, make sure the numbers are lined up with the marks.
