25 kwi 2022 · What I used to love of Windows 10, is if you change your volume. You could see what song was playing, on for instance Spotify or Windows Media Player. With Windows 11, this has been brought under the Action center, and then I need to press Windows + A, to see the song information.
18 lis 2015 · Disabling the sound setting that lowers volume when it detects communication devices. It only happens when I have more than one window/tab open with sound (but it doesn't always happen). E.g. Spotify and something else that it thinks have sound (games, specific websites or videos etc.).
24 kwi 2023 · Applying the potential solutions covered here will almost certainly fix that volume control slider for most users. With that issue resolved, you can adjust the volume with the control slider in the Windows 11/10 system tray again.
1. Check your speaker output. 2. Run the audio troubleshooter. 3. Verify that all Windows Updates are installed. 4. Check your cables, plugs, jacks, volume, speaker, and headphone connections. 5. Check sound settings. 6. Fix your audio drivers. 7. Set your audio device as the default device. 8. Turn off audio enhancements. 9. Restart Audio Services
18 lip 2024 · Alternatively, you can right-click or press and hold the speaker icon in the system tray and then choose Sound settings in the menu displayed. Either way, once you get to the Sound section, you can use the Volume slider to turn down or turn up the volume on your Windows 11 device.
10 cze 2023 · To remove the Sound Volume icon from the taskbar : Right-click the taskbar and select "Taskbar Settings". Under "Notification area" click "Select which icons appear on the taskbar". Turn Off the toggle for "Volume". The effect should be immediate.
3 paź 2024 · Mute on laptop. Some laptops have buttons that control the audio. If the laptop has buttons similar to those shown below, press the crossed-out speaker button to mute the laptop speakers. If your laptop does not have these buttons, look for an Fn key combo to mute the speakers.
