19 lip 2024 · SpellTable is an official website from WotC that allows players to play paper Magic remotely. It uses webcams, microphones, and a peer-to-peer connection to allow multiple people to play from separate locations.
Using a camera with adjustable/manual focus would be ideal, but those setups usually require a lot to set up (like capture cards, mounts, lighting, etc.). Unless you're getting way into it, I'd stick with lower-cost cams as you'll get diminishing returns as you go higher in price.

9 gru 2022 · Not only is SpellTable completely free to use, but it’s also easy to set up! All you need is a computer, a webcam (or your phone), and your favorite deck! Using SpellTable gives you more features than an ordinary video call would: it tracks life totals, commanders, and can even display your opponents’ cards for you.
I’m looking to setup an excellent spelltable setup. While it’s easy to use a generic webcam and mount to make it “playable”, I’ve found a lot of setups to be grainy and hard to read/see. Does anyone have good recommendations for lighting and webcams?
6 gru 2021 · First, you need to set your playing space up. The goal is to have a camera suspended above your desk, pointing down at your cards. First, if you haven't got one already, make a Wizards of the Coast account and use it to log in to Spelltable.
Use your webcam or your phone positioned above your playfield. Click on a card in any player's feed to quickly identify the card from a built in database of over 17,000 cards.
