Just got Diablo 1 on gog! My friends I want to play multiplayer. But we'll definitely be apart, as one of us is in a different country. This is possible, right? If so, how do we go about it? We've never done it before. As far as I can tell, we need a battlenet account and then play the classic version and go through battle net.
I dislike Hellfire, but one of the neat things about DevilutionX is that you can play vanilla Diablo with the barbiarian and bard (if you want). TLDR; vanilla D1 with some nice QoL and/or easy MP with friends? play devilutionX

Any guide on how i can play Diablo 1 Online with friends? Sorry for the question i dont know how to do it. Get DevolutionX its the same game as Diablo 1, only adds some QoLs that you can toggle on/off, better resolutions and you can play on basicly any device.
