This is called "canceling the dice". Once they have a hole in them, they will roll a lot more 2, 3, 4, 5 and fewer 1s and 6s so it is not recommended to use them for wargaming. If you want true "casino" dice you have to get them from the companies that make them: Paulson, and Midwest.
chessex sells some sets of dice that don't have 1s and instead have the highest number for the dice twice.
With this example you can see the long axis of the slight egg shape of the chessex dice is the 20-1 axis making those rolls less likely. The bias is small enough that it doesn't really matter but it is still interesting.
