2 kwi 2024 · The instructions given below for the installation of Firebird on Windows and Linux should be sufficient for the vast majority of cases. However, if you experience problems or if you have special needs not covered here, be sure to read the Release Notes.
What Is It? A simple NSIS script for upgrading (installing, reinstalling) a Firebird DBMS client or server for Windows. I had a task of upgrading Firebird on several hundred client computers and a dozen developer computers, while selecting certain installation options.

Although it is possible to install Firebird by some method-file system as "unpack" (spread) a snapshot file (snapshot) or decompressing a structured file. Zip-Winzip is highly recommended to use the distribution package the first time to install Firebird.
Installation or Setup. Download. Use Firebird site to download the correct "server package" for your system. First, select the version of Firebird that you would like to install. Next, select the appropriated installer for your system.
