  2. 21 sty 2022 · HDD Decryption Tool (Windows tool) The ERK (EID Root Key) is part of the metldr (first 48 bytes) and is located on the console flash memory. Unfortunately it is encrypted with unknown key, so you can't read it with chip readers to get ERK.

  3. You can't put ps3 hdd on another ps3, it will be formatted as hdd is encrypted by per console key. Just put new bigger hdd in fat, reinstall FW then install cfw on it if you like.
