23 maj 2019 · If you plan to install content onto your Ps3 that requires activation (DLC, PSN etc) then you will need to activate your system beforehand. It is advised to do this before hacking/exploiting with HEN as you will be connecting to PSN servers to activate.
Best way is to format the USB drive as NTFS, then do a few things on Multiman, followed by the transfer to the PS3's HDD. I don't think there's a way to load the game directly from an NTFS USB drive though.
IMHO the most convenient way is to play ISOS out of external SSD. That way the PS3 reads from both internal HDD (game data) and external drive and you get the fastest loading times. When PS3 has to read both disc image and game data out of internal HDD, loading times are longer.
Convert the game to ISO and use NTFS / exFAT drive with webman mod / prepiso. Most games load the fastest when the ISO is on USB.
