BS Legacy has updated their website to have the information and direct links to their tool and tutorial for rolling Beat Saber back to a BMBF Compatible version. I had posted this as a reply previously but thought this would have better visibility. https://bslegacy.com/#QuestDowngradeUtility.
You can use BS Legacy launcher or their console app to download old version of Beat Saber in their website https://bslegacy.com
You might try starting Steam first, then open the BS Legacy downloader. And note that the user name is NOT YOUR DISPLAY NAME (i've made this mistake before) but your login name. Hope that might help. Thnx for the reply for anyone else that has this issue in the future.
If there is a Depotdownloader update, you can easily add the update in the Depotdownloader folder and still use the Utility. Full Changelog: 2023.1.2r3...2023.1.3. Downgrade Utility made for downgrading Beat Saber; to allow users to play older versions of the game to relive the glory days.
