Connect to your WiFi network. Open a web browser, go to 10.0.0.1, and sign in. If you haven't changed it, the default is: Username: admin. Password: password. Go to Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi. To change your Channel Selection, select Edit next to the WiFi channel (2.4 or 5 GHz) you'd like to change.
Go to the WiFi settings of your personal device to make sure you're connected to your personal in-home WiFi network. Make sure the device isn’t blocked or paused in the Xfinity app. Learn how to unpause the device by reviewing Personalize and control your home network with Xfinity xFi.

In the Xfinity app, scroll down to Connection Trouble and select Restart Gateway. On the xFi website, scroll down to Troubleshooting and select Restart.
