You can quickly switch languages using your keyboard or the Input menu, or remain in your primary language and use the accent menu to enter characters with accent marks when writing. Set up your Mac to write in another language. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Keyboard in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

6 mar 2019 · Step 1. Open System Preferences. Step 2. Go to Keyboard. Step 3. Choose the Input Sources tab. Step 4. Add a new input source. Step 5. Find and add your desired keyboard layout in the language of your choice. Step 6. Switch between keyboard languages and layouts using the menu bar.
By double-clicking the hotkey on the right (next to "Select next source in Input menu") you can bind whatever shortcut you prefer. I personally prefer using ⌘Space for language switching (Russian user here so I switch layouts between US and Russian a lot).
9 maj 2021 · Use a Keyboard Shortcut. macOS has a keyboard shortcut to toggle amongst the available keyboard languages. You can use this shortcut to go to the next or previous language in the list. To switch to the next keyboard language in the list, press Option + Control + Spacebar.
