Thankfully, what keeps a lot of people away from fishing is having to level fishing. They'll spend days doing dm jump runs or farming herbs and mining in super contested zones, but won't pick up a fishing pole.
Head to Desolace and get the +20 fishing pole [Big Iron Fishing Pole]. Be warned that getting one may take some time, and others are trying to farm the fishing rod because it is selling for roughly 20 gold.
Stand next to water - open your professions tab - click the fishing icon (or drag it onto your bar if you want to) now you’re fishing. Tap the bobber(?) when it makes a little splash :)
I couldn't find anything similar, only janky modifier macros, and I really wanted to use 1 hand. The following macro will equip your pole, apply or re-apply the lure (without overwriting a currently active one), and cast without interruption:
Using +25 fishing pole and +100 hook should be fine if your close to 300 skill. Follwed wow-professions guide and did 1-375 in a day-ish. Guess what. It doesnt matter where you fish, the same 15 casts level same speed in Orgrimmar and Zangarmarsh if you get no getaways. 5-10 catches is about right. Its about 1 level per minute.
1 kwi 2023 · Go to a fishing spot and cast once, now you can water walk and fish swim with the legion legendary pole. Just fish once with it equipped. It equips your fishing gear like it does with your other professions when creating. Then you can walk on the water and swim like a fishy with your artifact fishing pole. I had the same issue.
i got fishing to 150 and have [Big Iron Fishing Pole] [Aquadynamic Fish Attractor]. So all in all I have a skill of 270 . ppl say you can make good gold with fishing. where and how? tamari's or stv? what do i need to do and why do ppl need it at 25? any tips? ty guys
