15 gru 2016 · Without entirely thinking through the connections, I decided to try a two-way HDMI splitter, finding one that was "HDCP 2.2 compliant." I figured I'd just send one output directly to the TV, and the other to the Yamaha receiver, figuring that I could at least bypass the receiver.
To bypass the HDCP I'm using the Cable Matters USB C to HDMI Adapter (USB-C to HDMI Adapter) Supporting 4K 60Hz. Contacted them too they said the adapter supports HDCP 2.2. The HDMI cable I used was a 4K 60Hz as well.

Try an HDMI splitter and only use one output. Should work. Make sure you get one that does 4k hdr. There’s a device called HD Fury that solves HDCP issues like this.
