It's just like crafting an enchanted diamond or an enchanted whatever (except its 80 per tier, instead of 160), and this has like 5 tiers. GEMSTONE POWDER: Forget about this until you reach HOTM 6. It is for HOTM 6 and 7 perks.
Gemstones can be applied to selected items at the gemstone grinder located near Geo. The Cost to Unlock (if any) must be paid in order to unlock the slot and apply the gemstone. The apply process is otherwise free of charge.
Treasure Chests. Gemstones of Rough, Flawed and Fine qualities can be found in Treasure Chests, except for Opal Gemstones. A Treasure Chest can spawn in random structures or has a chance to appear when mining Hard Stone in the ⏣ Crystal Hollows.
All Gemstones can be mined in certain Locations throughout SkyBlock, including the Crystal Hollows, Glacite Tunnels, Glacite Mineshafts, or Crimson Isle for Opal Gemstones. Each ore type has a specific Breaking Power requirement in order to be mined, but grants 3-5 Rough Gemstones of its respective type.
