The second season of Elementary was officially confirmed on March 27, 2013 by CBS. Production started in July, with the season premiere being filmed and set in London. Season Two premiered on September 26, 2013 and was released on DVD on August 26, 2014.
The seventh season of Elementary was announced on May 12, 2018 by CBS and is the final season of the series. Production began on July 11, 2018 and finished on December 14, 2018. It premiered on May 23, 2019 and concluded on August 15, 2019. Starting the season in London, Holmes and Watson return to New York City.
