12 gru 2022 · I am looking for a way to roughly calculate sunrise and sunset for a given lon/lat in mid Europe for each day of a year using a spreadsheet application. The thing doesn’t need to be very precise, but it should give a rough idea like when to switch on street lights—earlier in winter than in summer.
Using AstroExcel functions to calculate the position and size of the Sun and Moon and Excel’s bubble chart you can quickly plot what a solar eclipse will look like from your location, add a few spin buttons and you can control the time dynamically.
16 wrz 2014 · Does anybody know of a function / add-in / piece of programming that will generate the sunrise and sunset times for a location based on it's latitude and longitude and the date.
Formula [1] gives us a way of calculating a better estimate of the time of sunrise, given the current estimate (ut) and the hour angle of the Sun for that time, and the correction term. The quantity GHA + long gives us the Sun's hour angle on the local meridian.
