18 maj 2023 · A typical Gargantuan monster has a space of at least 20 by 20 feet on grid maps during combat encounters but could be much larger depending on its actual dimensions. These massive creatures often have powerful abilities and high hit points to match their imposing stature.
5th Edition Monster manual says gargantuan size is 20 ft by 20ft, or larger. So when a statblock says gargantuan, how do I know if it's larger than 20 ft by 20 ft?

In Dungeons & Dragons 5e, six distinct size categories are used to classify creatures and objects: Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Huge, and Gargantuan. Each category establishes the amount of space occupied by the entity, measured in squares or hexes on a battle map.
In the PHB, the rules for gargantuan creatures state that they're 20x20 ft. or larger. That last bit is key - your gargantuan creatures can be as colossal as you like! If you're playing on a virtual tabletop, which I'm assuming since you said token, then just scale it up to be as large as you like.
Given how large the tarrasque is, you can usually estimate most Gargantuan creatures as being within the 20~30ft range. Anything larger than that stops being a "token" and starts being a map feature. The difference between 35ft and 60ft diameter starts to become irrelevant.
