It also depends on how many pictures you expect to take without changing cards. If you never go beyond a 1000 per session, 64 is large enough. I am not sure you need a V90 for the R8.

I see CF type B cards with transfer rates of 1200. One, aren't there limits as to how fast the camera can write to the card? And two, is a type B card even compatible with my 5d?
