28 lis 2013 · Your ignition system looks very familiar and appears to be a lot like one on a 1986 Honda CT110 bike. Unscrew the spark plug cap and then clip a quarter of an inch off the end of the wire - reinstall the cap. Check the cap for infinite resistance with a multimeter - it could have failed internally.
24 mar 2021 · Thanks for your response, I need to look a little harder for VIN and S/N. Here are a couple pics of the area of concern. Also note that I did find a tag listing it is a 1986 model rather than 1985. The limit switch shown in the first picture is NC, and opens momentarily when the cam comes around.
20 sty 2021 · The ignition switch and the kill switch in an AC-CDI ignition system shut the motor off by grounding the ignition coil primary voltage out. So if the exciter coil, pulse gen & coil ohm out check the ignition & kill switches again.
11 lip 2023 · Sounds good. The 200 has spark, but bad compression, waiting on parts for that one. The 125 has no spark at this time. Looking for a procedure to trouble shoot the stator, CDI, ignition, etc.

22 gru 2015 · So to recap: with the key on, the starter button does nothing. crossing the solenoid will make the starter work, and after the engine is running the starter will work with the button! Has anyone else had this problem?
