Works great at 100 watt, easy to tune, compact Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. This little tuner fits in my go kit and works great. To minimize stress on the tuner, I don't tune with the radio. I connect an antenna analyzer to the tuner and adjust for minimum SWR. Only then I connect it to the radio.
The ZM-2 ATU is a simple manual antenna tuner that you can purchase either as a fun-to-build kit or fully assembled and tested. 29 cze 2021 · There are tuned single-band whip antennas, with BNC connectors, available from MFJ and probably other sources. I have gotten a 20 meter one and also a set of 8 loading and coils and one telescoping whip, all through ebay.
11 gru 2016 · The only thing I would caution readers about is that although this homebrew Buddipole is very inexpensive to build, the article mentions that it requires antenna analyzer to tune it up. So an inexpensive antenna that needs a $350-plus instrument to make it work is kind of a wash.
