Attraction Details. The Hobo Railroad is a family friendly train ride in a natural woodsy setting along the Pemigewasset River located in the Lincoln-Woodstock area. Trains operate weekends Memorial Day through late June, daily late June through Labor Day - Then weekends in early September, daily mid-September through mid-October.
The railroad has some of the most diverse and scenic Fall Foliage Trains in New England, either lakeside or on a journey to the mountains. Since 2003 the railroad has promoted heavily this important season for tourism. It also benefits from its 1½ hour travel time from Boston.
Ride the rails along the Pemigewasset River aboard the Granite State Scenic Railway, or traverse Crawford Notch with a ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad's Mountaineer train.
