HMS Tireless was the third Trafalgar-class nuclear submarine of the Royal Navy. 7 paź 2017 · HMS Tireless (A/Lt.Cdr. M.L.C. Crawford, DSC and Bar, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Campbeltown with HMS Clover (Lt. R.P. Booth, RNVR) and HMS La Cordeliere (T/Lt. F.A. Haworth, RNVR). Upon completion of these exercises HMS Tireless proceeded to Holy Loch.

Tireless was primarily involved in anti-submarine warfare patrols in the Atlantic Ocean during the Cold War. The submarine had a displacement of 4,500 to 4,800 tonnes when surfaced and 5,200 to 5,300 tonnes when submerged. It had a length of 85.4 meters, beam of 9.8 meters, and a draught of 9.5 meters.
However, because the displacement limitations restricted the size and power of their engines to 2500 hp (surfaced) (1450 hp submerged), the maximum surface speed was lower. The first T Class submarines were 275 feet long and displaced 1327 tons surfaced.
