29 gru 2020 · Indian Railways has launched the recently integrated Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) and a mobile application for downloading Unique Medical Identity Card (UMID) today i.e., 28th December, 2020.
The open source HMIS software has been deployed over the cloud in RailTel Data Centre. This platform is linked to the unique medical ID of employees for which about 43 lacs UMID cards have been issued to the regular employees, pensioners and their family members by Indian Railways.
