4 lip 2019 · Hi guys looking for some advice on the 1.8 tsi engine, Has anyone on here had any major problems with there’s? Looking online at some of the common issues, where stretched timing chains and high oil consumption?
17 lut 2013 · 1.8TSi has chain driven camshafts while the 2.0TSi in the VRS is belt driven so they are totally different series of engines. These problems sem to only affect the VRS (same engine as in my Eos, my Scout is a 1.8TSi).
21 lip 2021 · Does anyone here has any experiences or knowledge of how reliable the Yamaha super charge 1.8 engines are? Do they require a lot more maintenance or prone to give you trouble? Would you just stay with natural aspire 1.8 for dependability?
27 kwi 2014 · Bringing this thread back to life with my experience with a 2005 Jetta GLI 1.8T with auto transmission which currently have 128k miles on it. Bought this used in 2014 and here is everything that i had to repair on this car, 1. Engine sludge out of the gate. My fault, should have changed oil immediately after buying it. 2. Oil cooler failure.

1 lut 2015 · Just sharing some pics of my 2012 Elantra GL with the 1.8 nu engine, I work at a Hyundai dealer and one day I was looking at the tsb's and Hyundai finally recognized there was a problem with the block of some 1.8 engines and was ok'd to replace the block in my car because it was rattling.
1 sty 2020 · Downside is can't seem to find any pictures of how it fits. Comes with rad, intercooler and some slimline fans. I'm guessing it'd be that or my 16v rad with a universal type intercooler?
