The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York State residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York State. TAP is one of the grants, scholarships and awards programs administered by the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC).
This online application process allows you to apply for New York State's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). TAP is available to students attending a SUNY, CUNY or not-for-profit independent degree-granting colleges on a full or part-time basis.
Call the HESC Help Desk at 1-866-431-HESC (1-866-431-4372) for assistance. The Help Desk is staffed 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday. Leave a message during unstaffed hours and someone will return your call.
