28 paź 2024 · The Aaronic Blessing is a blessing given by Aaron, the high priest, to the Israelites, as described in the book of Numbers, chapter 6. The blessing is a prayer for God’s favor, protection, and guidance for His people.
Numbers 6:24-26. The Lord bless thee — Bestow upon you all manner of blessings, temporal and spiritual. Keep thee — That is, continue his blessings to thee, and preserve thee in and to the use of them; keep thee from sin, and its bitter effects.
29 lut 2020 · The Aaronic Blessing: Numbers 6:24-26. The Aaronic blessing is one of my favorite passages in the Bible. It is a beautiful blessing given by Aaron, the High Priest to bless the nation of Israel. I have included the passage below and the Hebrew translation.
The first blessing is the most general (Numbers 6:24). God’s blessing is His goodness poured out. The priest called on Him not only to provide for His people but to defend them from all evil. The second blessing is more specific (Numbers 6:25). God’s face is the revelation of His personality to people.

Consider these verses that tell us about the power of our words: Proverbs 11:9 “Evil words destroy one’s friends; wise discernment rescues the godly.”
