you need the opposite baffle pads for the amok vs haven. I would not try to use one for both and expect a good time. the amok can accommodate 72 or 78 inch length pads, the xl will need thr xl fjol. the haven needs side to side baffled pads, and iirc is quite a bit wider than what the draumr would allow.
Has anyone used a different pad besides the Haven XL pad? I have the Thermarest Mondo, but was looking for one with a lower R value. TIA

29 gru 2022 · I have been out in the woods with my Haven Hammock down to 38 degrees and was quite toasty. Has anyone taken it lower (maybe 28 or so) without doing anything special? I don't want to invest in the pad cover but but I would try something cheap and light to get me down to 28 if I needed it.
Our new Premium Insulated Pad is 21% lighter (6 oz | 170 g lighter) and features a two-part, one-way valve for quick and easy inflation. Insulation is critical for hammock camping. The Standard Pad (R3) works great for warmer temps while the Premium Pad (R4.7) provides more insulation for cooler camping.
