The Noland Home is open to the public on the first floor from 8:30 AM to 4:30PM Wednesdays to Sundays, with exhibits to help us think about Truman's life. There are also restrooms and water fountains. We recommend that all visit the Noland Home before or after their tours of the Truman Home.

The Truman Home stands in downtown Independence, MO, twelve miles east of Kansas City. On Interstate-70, take the Noland Road exit (#12). The Ticket and Information Center is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To ensure your space on a tour, we suggest arriving early in the day. Tours are not available on Mondays between Labor Day and Memorial Day. The site is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
The Noland Home is open Wednesdays-Sundays 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There is an accessible entrance in the rear, with one van accessible parking space. There are restrooms and water available. (This is important as there are none available in the Truman Home itself during tours.)
