Then you use the starter motor to turn the engine (DO NOT START IT, JUST TURN IT) for at most one or two revolutions of the crank. Just enough to break the bolt loose.

With this puller they come off the shaft like butter. it was harder putting on the new pulley, much tighter fit. And I even heated up the new pulley too.

   9 kwi 2017 · I just swapped in new supercharger and #1 idler pulleys today from Dayco (same part numbers in the first post) and a new serpentine belt from Toyota. I installed the entire kit with tensioner pulley and idler pulley, along with new belt. All seems well.
