Our RV park conveniently has Frio River access, so campers can fully enjoy fun water activities like tubing, kayaking, and fishing. We are also situated close to local attractions such as area shops, the hiking trails of Los Maples or Garner State Park, and other beautiful natural sceneries.
Happy Hollow is located right on the Frio River north of the state park. They have shuttle buses that drop you off at the Tx-1120 river crossing and you float down to their location about 2 hours down the river. Their rental equipment was in good shape and priced competitively to the others.
Hey ya'll better get down to this place! Easy check-in! Place was SUPER clean! Right on the frio river! Fire pit, 2-bbq pits near the bungalows. 4 comfortable beds! Large kitchen and living area! Great place to stay, drink, float, and freeze! 1-mile from Garner State Park. 5 steps into the river are really steep, if you have trouble with that FYI!

best place to tube on the Frio Jul 2020 we have tubed here twice this summer, the staff and service here are really good, we had a great time and I'd recommend stopping here.
21 paź 2015 · We can walk out the back door to the river, walk to the Happy Hollow convenience store to get ice, food, drinks, etc. and catch the bus to the beginning of the float. It is about 3 hours from the drop off back downriver to Happy Hollow, but it is a beautiful float.
