I was following this map but I'm not seeing anything in most of the locations (achievement says I haven't found it). Do the abandoned nests disappear permanently once checked, or do they respawn?

There are only 33 in Hoelbrak, so to get the extra 2, you must either wait for a map instance swap prompt, or visit any of the following maps: Rata Sum, The Grove, Divinity's Reach, Black Citadel, Eye of the North or Lion's Arch.
